Organic Farming & Gardening Intro Courses INTENSIVE TRAINING COURSE IN ORGANIC FARMING/GARDENING OFFERED REGULARLY This class offered regularly at Cane Creek Farm in Cumming mixes classroom instruction with practical on-farm experiences and field trips. Our next class, in the fall, will meet on three weekends plus a Saturday, on Sept 25th and 26th, Oct 9th and 10th, Octo 23 and 24th, and October 30th, 2010. 1 Day Organic Gardening Workshop This class was held at the farm on April 17th from 9 to 4. Cost was $70, including lunch. The class is a brief intro to the highlights of organic growing and includes a session on soils, one on pest management, and one on plants and planting. Each session is about 2 hours long and includes discussion and hands-on activities. We generally offer this 1-day workshop in the spring, in April, of each year
