What We Grow

Cane Creek Farm produces a wide variety of fruits and vegetables throughout the year. With a focus on supplying seasonal produce to local families and restaurants, examples of our offerings are spring onions, radishes and lettuces in the spring; squash, peppers, broccoli, blueberries and tomatoes in the summer; lots of greens and roots in the fall and winter seasons; and shitake mushrooms whenever they flush.

All of our produce is grown using sustainable, chemical-free growing practices. We are Certified Naturally Grown, using the same standards as certified organic. We also grow flowers for bouquets, and raise sheep on pasture without hormones or antibiotics. We keep a few hens to provide entertainment and eggs.

The other focus we have is on growing new farmers and gardeners. We offer classes, internships, camps, and volunteer opportunities throughout the year.

Produce and Flowers

Each year Cane Creek Farm grows popular items (e.g. blueberries, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, beans), and each year we experiment with new items and different varieties. CSA members can expect between 8 to 10 items in their Harvest Bag each week of the season. Some weeks the bag will weigh more, and some weeks less, depending on the items. READ MORE
